Prof. Maud Blandford

Promoted to Honorary Fellowship in May 1973 in recognition of her sustained insistence on the strict observance of the 1923 ruling that all Society votes be conducted by raised hand and counted twice; barred from meetings, the Society having found itself unable to conclude a vote in her presence since 1968.
